I Found the Place !!!

Today while looking for a place to do laundry I decided to go from the bus stop like we use to walk to the hostel and I found it. Here are some pictures - it is a beautiful place.

Tom, baby Jesse and I use to sit in the gravel (where the garbage can is) looking for little shells (I still have the shells) and playing with the ants. When we would see one ant – we would put a piece of apple in front of it. The ant would climb on it and then go away a little later a line of ants would come and break off pieces of the apple, returning the way they came.

The room we stayed in is gone now it is where the palm trees are.

We were living here when it was first bought in 1979 just being the caretakers until someone came down to start the remodeling.

It does the heart good to see it in this great condition. The people there are nice.

My brother worked at an Italian restaurant as a cook here. One time he treated us to a wonderful dinner. He was a great cook. I remember how good it felt in the restaurant to be warm.

That's so cool! You now have a piece of your past captured in a still moment. I'm sure Jesse probably doesn't remember sitting on the gravel but I bet it was so exciting for you to be there. I got chills down my spine when I was reading your blog; I could just picture you and dad and Jesse hanging out on the gravel and acting like you don't have a care in the world. And you probably didn't (have a care)... I so wish we could be sharing these moments with you!

P.S. When it says that you posted something at 12:37 PM is that Israeli time or Washington time?

P.P.S. In case I forgot to mention it earlier, I really like it when you post pictures. Whether that makes me post modern or not, visuals are great!

How cool for you guys to be able to see all these places again! I'll have to get Jesse to sit down and read through your entries this weekend.

Thank you for sending so many pictures. This is helping me to feel like I am there. How great to find the same places you used to go when you lived there before. It is beautiful. I agree with you about the heat and understand how much better things are when you are hot. Have a wonderful day exploring. Tom seems to be having a great time under the sea. I love the pictures when it looks like the fish are posing. When you get back we'll do olive garden.
love and prayers

That is really awesome! It's fun for me to look at those pictures because I've seen so many from when you used to live there so it's fun to see it now. I'm so happy you guys are having a good time! We're all missing you a lot here.
The internet went down so that's why I've been MIA for a few days...
Things here are good. We said goodbye to Grandma and Papa today as they headed off to Europe. It was making me sad and I considered trying to hide in their suitcases... somehow that plan just never works!
The stinkin cat has been laying around like a floor mat because it's been hot here. I asked him if he missed you guys and he said he did a lot. So I gave him extra hugs and scritches. He's so spoiled!
Guess what! I get to go to the Mariner's game tonight! My friend got free tickets so WOOO HOO!! I'm gonna be one of those crazy fans and we're gonna paint go Mariner's stuff all over our arms. Fun times!
Thanks for posting so many pictures. It's really nice to feel like I'm enjoying your vacation with you. =)
Love you tons!

I'm finally leaving a comment, sorry it's taken me so long. You probably know if you are reading Luke's blog that Luke got pneumonia on Saturday night, so we had to cut our vacation short. Therefore I have not been able to keep up with your blog as I would of liked to, so tonight I read everything and looked at all your wonderful pictures.

I'm so glad that you are both having such a wonderful time. We miss you all.

Love ya,
Sue
