Hi Everyone!

We are here in Eilat. It has changed so much, wow. It feels like we have gone into a time warp. There are a lot of people here – I mean a lot of people. Tom is out diving right now and I just finished unpacking for our week here. It is hot, yesterday at 5:00 pm it was 110° (in the parked car it was 126 °) not sure yet what it is today. I love it, it feels good don’t quite think that Tom agrees.

It has changed so much that we are wondering if the place we lived at in 1979 is still in the same spot or even the same building because of all the remodeling that has happened. We are so happy the Lord opened this opportunity for us to come here again.

What a long but fun trip down. It was longer then we expected plus we stopped along the way. We ate at the lowest McDonalds in the world (396 meters below sea level) at the Dead Sea (the lowest place on earth) and I put my feet in the water, wow, was it warm.

We had a great time in the Galilee, seeing Yudah and Yona was such a blessing. The ranch has changed a lot. Mom & Dad Yudah and Yona send their greetings. When things change for the better that means things are being blessed.

Haifa was bitter-sweet the hostel had been abandon for many year and they have started cleaning it up and making changes.

Have we mentioned all the children around here? Getting on the plane in Atlanta there were so many children. Almost every young couple had a baby or at least three if not more kids. The kids where well behaved and it was delightful being around so many. Then here in the land too, kids and babies are everywhere. Coming from the northwest where it seems there aren’t as many children it is stark in contrast.

The water is so blue! Sure am glad for that. There are a few pleasure boats and a few tour boats. The strangest things to see are the commercial ship docks and all the foreign cars coming into the land.

Many signs along the way down saying beware of water on the bridge, which were dips in the road with a dept meter in the middle of it. We only crossed over one bridge.

Well good-bye for now I am going to drive around the city for a while.

Shalom and Love, Cindy

Really cool pictures! Dad, when are you gonna get in some shots, eh? You need proof that you were actually there, otherwise I might not believe you! Mom, you should have just ran and jumped into the water!
The weather here is actually getting warmer. It's supposed to be 93 tomorrow and then 97 on Wednesday. Oh sure, it's no 110 but it's toasty for the great North West!
Today I found a picutre of me and mom and I had to have Nichole soothe my oncoming emotional breakdown (from prison of course =)
I haven't been able to sleep lately. My insomnia is back and it sucks. I've been falling asleep around six every morning when it's already super bright outside. YUCK!
Well, I think I'm going to try to go hang out with Marion Hazzard sometime this week so that ought to be refreshing... I really want to steal her miracle dog... but that would be sad so I will resist. I saw a really cute pooch wandering the streets the other day and I ALMOST went and snatched him up but he was bleeding from his posterior... not that I don't want to help dogs, but I don't think I really wanted bloody dog disease all over the upholstry in my car. Eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!
Well, I'm glad ya'll are having a good time. LUCKY DUCKS! Oh, and no more McDonalds! Aren't you supposed to be eating Israeli food? Shame shame shame on you! Eat more Matza, less processed American swill. HAHA HA!
Love you lots!
XOXOXO!

I should have clarified that the ONLY reason we stopped at McDonald's was that it was at the Dead Sea, AND is the lowest McDonald's in the WORLD... so that qualifies as coolness even for McDonald's!!

We have been eating Israeli breakfasts every morning and felafel's for dinner every evening... kind of stuck in a rut, but it's an awesome rut! We love it!

Thanks for posting comments... it's a great way to keep in touch and let us know that someone is actually reading this blog! We love the comments.

And thank's for resisting the doggie temptation... hug the cat, hug him again, then squeeze him for me... rotten cat. Maybe some year a puppy will show up for Mom!

Love and Miss you,

Dad & Mom (sitting next to me reading as I write and wanting to be sure I put "and Mom" when I sign off!!!) :-)

So today is supposed to be record braking heat. Hottest day since 1945! Yowza!
Last night I came home at 10:30 and the stupid cat was running around outside. He was all freaked out and couldn't figure out how to get back in. He's quite the handfull... I almost need hired help just to deal with him!
Dad, you went to EGYPT?!?!?!?!?! JEALOUS!!!! SOOOO stinkin jealous!!! Mom, why didn't you go?? Didn't want to get sold for camels probably! Ha ha! If it helps, I would NEVER sell you for camels!... OR puppies!... OR kitties!... well, you get the idea! The hotel looks really cool! I would be a permanent resident at that pool. So when ya come home am I gonna finally look like a white girl standing next to you?? =) You always make fun of my tan, but I don't know how you wouldn't get one there!
Grandma and Papa should be leaving today for Europe. Why is everyone but me travelling????
The Searles had to come back from their trip early cause half their tribe got sick. They're hoping to get better and then continue their vacation up at paradise. Josh came back before everyone cause of work. We saw him and he said that he got to surf with whales and seals! That show off! He's almost as bas as you! ;)
Thanks for putting pics of dad up finally... I like the one of you guys together... now I know you're BOTH really there! LUCKKKKY!!!!
*pout pout pout*
Love you tons!
